The 10K Sports Medicine practice was established in 2008 by Doug Yeakel MD. This medical practice is dedicated to provide high quality medical care for injuries and illnesses; particularly as they relate to the “active lifestyle.” Today 10K is rapidly expanding and in the process of building and developing an Urgent Care Center. Located on “Main Street” (223 Harrison Ave) in Leadville, CO we anticipate being able to serve all your needs in May of 2011.

10K Sports Medicine is more than an office based medical practice. The “essence” of an office visit must always include the patient/doctor sharing of medical concerns in a private dialogue. However a new paradigm of web based technology will provide the patients of 10K a rich continuum for their health care beyond the office setting. Your imagination and feedback can be an important part of this development so we invite you to join the team and make suggestions.
